Symposium on Compassionate Living and Dying

April 27, 2019

9am – 4pm

To live life fully is to embrace all aspects of it. Dying is a part of Living

Mark your calendars for the first Symposium on Compassionate Living and Dying, right here in Sacramento at the Unitarian Church.

This event will be interactive and educational, with Speakers and Compassionate Conversation Circles, addressing how to live a fuller, more meaningful and compassionate life, while also recognizing and honoring our own mortality.

Our mission is to inspire people to live a more joyful and passionate life by offering resources, experiences, connections and opportunities. It is our belief that transformation will occur within ourselves, our families and throughout our communities with these components.

Purchase tickets $85

A portion of our proceeds will be donated to Joshua’s House, a hospice for the homeless located in Sacramento (the first on the West Coast!). Founder Marlene von Friederichs-Fitzwater PhD MPH, will share her moving story about how her grandson dying homeless on the streets motivated her to bring this service to our city.
